Downtown Longueuil Project

Mixed-use TOD project

Devimco Immobilier announced a transit-oriented development (TOD) project in Longueuil’s downtown core near the Longueuil - Université-de-Sherbrooke metro station. This $500 million mixed-use project will cover an area of 1.2 million sq. ft. with various commercial spaces and nearly 1,200 housing units designed to promote teleworking. It is the first project to be integrated into the City of Longueuil's 2035 vision.

An innovative, unique and sustainable living environment

Devimco Immobilier plans on building two 22-storey rental housing towers overlooking a commercial centre located above the existing metro station. Two other 22-storey towers are planned for the project, each offering new condos for sale. These two towers will also be linked by a commercial centre. Underground parking lots will be set up alongside the new buildings. The two sites will create a real synergy between the different components to offer a high-quality living environment at the heart of an ideal location where all the conditions for future success converge.

Parks are an important part of the integrated development project to allow easy access to green spaces. Devimco Immobilier is committed to making this project a sustainable one, where best practices in eco-friendly urban development planning will be put forward.

An unparalleled business opportunity

The project has excellent potential for high-traffic commercial space. There are also opportunities to strengthen the area’s already considerable educational offerings thanks to the presence of three university campuses: Université de Sherbrooke, Université de Montréal, and Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

An environment that promotes urban transport

This large-scale project will be located in a highly strategic sector in terms of public transportation and mobility. With the statement of agreement from the Société des transports de Montréal (STM), it will completely redefine the access to the City of Longueuil by metro, offering improved accessibility to citizens, residents, merchants, workers and visitors in addition to being a major asset for all public transportation users on the South Shore.
