Purpose of the position The sales representative is responsible for securing a required number of sales and ensuring the effectiveness of sales operations in the office by answering customer’s information requests and following-up on sales files. Proficiency in basic software applications is mandatory for this position.
Responsabilities and activities
  • Follow-up on registrants, calls, emails, face to face meetings;
  • Enter the customer’s information, details on follow-up discussions and any written communications into a database;
  • Sign preliminary contracts and annexes;
  • Collect deposits as requested in the preliminary contract, preferably at the time of contract signature, as well as the bank approval letter which meets criteria;
  • Answer questions from potential clients;
  • Look for new clients;
  • Follow the competition and stay current with what’s happening on the market;
  • Perform any other related task requested by the Owner, within reason;
  • Attend weekly meetings;
  • Take part in launch events and activities related to the Owner’s projects;

Required qualifications
  • Fluency in both French and English (written and oral)
  • Three years of experience working with a sales team
  • Real estate qualifications are an asset
  • Excellent communication abilities (written and oral)
  • Proficiency with Windows, Excel and Outlook

Work schedule
  • Minimum working hours at the sales office are from 12 pm (noon) to 7 pm, Monday to Thursday and from 12 pm (noon) to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
  • The sales office is closed on Friday and Sales Representatives are allowed another day off during weekdays, excluding Saturday and Sunday.
However, it is agreed that the nature of a Sales Representative’s duties and responsibilities can sometimes involve exceptional working hours. For example, at the request of a potential client or during a special promotion at one of the Owner’s projects, the Representative’s working hours may vary.
