PROJECT MANAGER

Purpose of the position Reporting to the project manager or construction manager, the project manager is responsible for the proper development of one or more construction projects. His/her role is mainly to plan, organize, coordinate and control the activities in order to bring the project to a successful conclusion. The incumbent will work in close collaboration with the superintendent and the foreman. The incumbent will also directly supervise the project coordinators who will report to him/her.
Responsabilities and activities
  • Planning and coordination of work;
  • Budget monitoring and update;
  • Establish and follow the deadlines;
  • Approval of monthly invoices and payment requests;
  • Approval and verification of contract amendment requests;
  • Follow-up on the approval of shop drawings;
  • Participation in the tendering and contracting process;
  • Coordination of the various project stakeholders, including professionals and subcontractors;
  • Production of project completion documents.

Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction or civil engineering;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience;
  • Have completed the complete construction cycle of at least two multi-storey residential towers in concrete structure.
