–<\/strong>Serge Goulet
\nPresident<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”Serge Goulet, a seasoned entrepreneur, founded his first company specializing in the commercial sector in 1988.”]\n

He then began a remarkable career in the real estate industry. After having built several shopping centres with institutional partners in Quebec, he created Devimco Immobilier in 1997. In the early 2000s, the company built Quartier DIX30 in Brossard, the first project of its kind in Canada. It quickly became the second largest lifestyle centre in the country, attracting over 23 million visitors per year. In 2008, Devimco sets out to conquer Montreal\u2019s residential market with District Griffin, a mixed-use project that completely revitalized the Griffintown neighbourhood. Always on the lookout for emerging trends, in 2013 Serge Goulet undertook the Solar Uniquartier project, the first transit-oriented development (TOD) in Quebec.<\/p>\n

–<\/strong> Mathieu Jobin
\nGeneral director and partner<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”Mathieu Jobin currently holds the position of General Director and Partner at Groupe Devimco.”]A lawyer by training, Mathieu worked in private practice in Quebec City where he mainly practised real estate and business law, as well as funding structure. In 2003, he left private practice to join the world of real estate development. In December 2012, he founded Devimco Immobilier with Serge Goulet. Throughout his career, Mathieu has contributed to the development of several real estate complexes across the province, but especially in the Greater Montreal area. Thus, he was one of the leading players to initiate the DIX30 project in Brossard, and District Griffin in downtown Montreal. Today, Groupe Devimco carries out complex development projects focused on mix usage, such as Solar Uniquartier on the South Shore of Montreal, MAA on the site of the first gym in North America, and Maestria in the heart of Quartier des spectacles.<\/p>\n

Mathieu Jobin manages Groupe Devimco real estate projects, and oversees business relations with partners and stakeholders. \nChief Executive Officer and Partner<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”With over 20 years of experience in the financial sector and a multidisciplinary background, Laurent Messier joined Devimco Immobilier in 2014.”]\n

For nearly a decade, he specialized in consulting, advising senior executives on corporate acquisitions, fair market value assessments, and business reorganizations. He also contributed to strategy, marketing, and business development, actively participating in sales presentations, client meetings, and strategic negotiations. His expertise further extends to legal matters, business valuation processes, acquisitions, and restructurings.<\/p>\n

His interest in real estate grew after co-founding a real estate company, which eventually led him to specialize in the sector and join Devimco\u00a0Immobilier.<\/p>\n

Messier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a graduate diploma in Public Accounting from HEC Montr\u00e9al. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and also holds the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation from York University in Toronto.<\/p>\n

His diverse expertise and versatility enabled him to rise within the organization, ultimately becoming Chief Executive Officer and Partner. In this role, Messier actively oversees all phases of major projects that are shaping the urban landscape of Greater Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

His keen ability to identify new sites\u2019 potential and build strong, collaborative relationships with municipalities has been instrumental in bringing large-scale projects to life.<\/p>\n

Holder of a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration from the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, James now leads Devimco\u2019s Residential department, overseeing sales, marketing, architecture and customer service with excellence. He also heads the Acquisitions and Development department, where his expertise and leadership guide multidisciplinary teams in successfully delivering ambitious projects.<\/p>\n

A former athlete, James draws on his discipline and team spirit to bring energy and rigour that inspire those around him. Known for his vision and his talent for uniting people, he plays a pivotal role in driving Devimco\u2019s growth and innovation.<\/p>\n

Beyond his professional responsibilities, James is deeply committed to the community. He is actively involved in major philanthropic initiatives, including the fundraising campaign for the new command centre at Montreal\u2019s Jewish General Hospital, reflecting his dedication to building a stronger collective future.

With his experience as an external auditor in a major accounting firm, Philippe joined Devimco Immobilier in 2013. Her approach is grounded in delivering personalized support at every stage of the client journey, optimizing operational processes, and implementing initiatives that elevate both customer satisfaction and long-term trust. M\u00e9lanie has contributed to the successful launch and commercialization of nearly thirty major real estate projects, establishing solid foundations for the continued growth of Groupe Devimco.<\/p>\n

\nVice-President Investments and Development<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”Active in the real estate industry since 2012 and holding a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, Jessica has worked in various sectors of the industry. Since 2020, she has been part of Groupe Devimco as a Director in the Investments team and is responsible for different major projects of the company from a financial perspective.”]\n

Before joining the organization, she gained solid experience at the Caisse de d\u00e9p\u00f4t et placement du Qu\u00e9bec and PwC Canada, where she worked in portfolio management, feasibility and market analysis, as well as asset valuation through her professional journey within a pension fund real estate subsidiary and a consulting firm.<\/p>\n

Jessica is joining the vice-presidency team to optimize the development and delivery of the group’s numerous large-scale construction projects. \nVice-President Investments and Asset Management<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”Paolo has over 15 years of experience in real estate investments and finance. He joined Devimco in 2021 as Director of Investments, where he contributed to the success of several acquisition, disposition, financing, and partnership transactions.”]\n

Before joining Groupe Devimco, Paolo worked with organizations such as the Caisse de d\u00e9p\u00f4t et placement du Qu\u00e9bec, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Carbonleo, focusing on investments, development, and asset management for properties located in both Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n

He holds the CFA designation and is a graduate of the John Molson School of Business with a specialization in finance. \nVice-President human resources<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”Cynthia Jodoin is an accomplished leader and career woman who has made a name for herself in both unionized and non-unionized companies, nationally and internationally.”]\n

She has worked in human resources for over 20 years in various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, restaurants, retail and more. Before being appointed Vice-President of human resources at Groupe Devimco, Cynthia held the position of Vice-President of human resources for Groupe Grandio and played a key role in the successful growth of companies such as Lafleur, Loblaws, Fruits & Passion, and Uman Pharma.<\/p>\n

Recognized for her strong ability to develop and implement effective, pragmatic strategies that contribute to a company’s vision and the achievement of its business plan, Cynthia is a key member of an executive committee. \nVice-President legal matters<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”With over 20 years of experience, specifically in real estate law, Chantal worked in private law firms for over 15 years, acquiring extensive skills in commercial leases and various disputes regarding commercial contracts.”]\n

This expertise has led her to represent many property owners before the courts. Throughout her career, Chantal has distinguished herself by her team spirit, communication skills, advanced knowledge as well as her unshakeable confidence.<\/p>\n

Chantal joined Devimco Immobilier just over 5 years ago as Senior Legal Counsel. Originally responsible for the management of leasing matters and disputes, in the months following her arrival she was entrusted with the management of sales and acquisition matters. She was actively involved in the revitalization of MAA, the Longueuil\u2013Universit\u00e9-de-Sherbrooke metro station, Brossard\u2019s Panama sector, the site of the former CBC\/Radio-Canada tower as well as the sale of the Destination Laprairie project. As part of these projects, she displayed exceptional professionalism and dedication during negotiations and the completion of various agreements with the involved parties. In May 2020, she was promoted to Director of Legal Matters, then Vice-President of Legal Matters in January 2023.<\/p>\n

\nExecutive vice-president construction<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”A civil engineer by training with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, \u00c9ric Belley has acquired exceptional knowledge in planning, budgeting, cost management, schedule control, contract negotiation and administration.”]\n

He has built his experience in the largest construction companies in Quebec by managing large-scale institutional, multi-residential and industrial projects.<\/p>\n

Since 2016, he held executive positions with EBC and then QMD. \nVice-President Construction<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_toggle title=”With nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Mathieu is renowned for his solid expertise and skills. He has participated in numerous large-scale real estate projects, including the majestic Maestria Condominiums and the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Complexe des sciences.”]\n

Since 2019, Mathieu has worked as Construction Manager at Groupe Devimco. Strong-willed and thoughtful, he has always distinguished himself by his commitment to delivering projects on time and on-budget.<\/p>\n

Mathieu is a strong and versatile leader with contagious dynamism; his rigour and organizational skills enable him to have an effective global vision. He is passionate about his work and fulfills his responsibilities with great enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

This division supports the multi-use, commercial, office and residential rental projects of Groupe Devimco, in order to create pleasant living environments that meet customer expectations.<\/p>\n

With a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a specialty in finance, she has over 15 years of experience in strategic positions in asset management, real estate development and leasing.<\/p>\n

As a member of the board of directors of BOMA Quebec, Caroline Girard demonstrates exceptional leadership.
